New controller LSC plus improved version with color touch screen
The application of new forward-looking technologies - the use of a high performance digital signal processor, a high resolution colored TFT-display and the touch functionality – give the space for an easy future upgrade of functions and features. New ideas and experiences of customers, distributors and our own research group can be smoothly embedded. The coloured touchscreen and the improved „intuitive to use“ - menu structures provide an optimum selection of different functions.
Features:
Fastest possible Sample Concentration and Drying !
This newly developed CHRIST-vacuum concentrator SpeedDry 2-33IR is particularly suitable for gentle concentration of DNA/RNA, proteins, and similar analysis preparations at the workplace. The versatile rotor program provides a high sample capacity, e.g. from 216 x 1.5 ml reaction vials up to 12 x microtiter-plates or 4 x deep-well plates. In addition, large sample volumes, e.g. 100-ml-tubes that are used for the screening of active substances can be quickly concentrated thanks to the efficient energy supply with halogen IR lamps.
The innovative drive system with its powerful external rotor motor, the contact-free, central rotary coupler, and direct power transmission all guarantee safe operation even in the event of high unbalance.
The user-friendly CDplus control unit provides a quick overview of the current operating parameters. Heating temperatures between +30°C and +80°C and, of course, also the entire pressure range of the vacuum pump can be selected either manually or controlled by a program, also freeze drying possible.
Features:
All units are "Made in Germany" within ISO 9001 certified series production. In addition to this, S-Biotech Kft. further guarantees its supplyings within ISO 9001 certified activities and provides a qualified technical and application service.
Initial situation:
The product temperature is considered as an essential criterion for monitoring an control of the freeze drying process, in fact during freeze drying as well as during main and final drying. As measuring should be carried out in several - often small - vials, conventional wired sensors cause considerable handling problems ("spaghetti").
Every now and then sample vials tip over when placing the sensor and the product contaminates the freeze dryer.
Moreover, for wired sensors it is necessary to place sockets incl. wiring within the drying chamber, which makes cleaning difficult.
For production units with automatic loading systems, placing of conventional sensor is almost impossible. This applies espacially in connection with slot doors and isolator technique. Such drying cycles are mostly run without product temperature measuring, relying upon the results of validation runs.

The solution:
Motivated by the PAT ("Process Analytical Technologies") initiated by the FDA we have broken new ground. In cooperation with company IQ-mobil the wireless temperature measurement system WTM ("Wireless Product Temperature Measurement") was developed, designed to eliminate the above disadvantages. The wireless, energy autarkic sensors are placed manually or automatically when filling the product vials or dishes; during the whole lyophilization process they report the product temperature to the system control.
